SPRING!

It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!

Spring is in the air! We are certainly feeling the effects of spring here at The Old House. People are coming out of hibernation and into the store. With that is the coming and goings of fabulous old items. Soon we shall see the flowers bloom and the streets cleaned.

While the city sets the streets straight again we are gathering the gardening gear here and setting up the outdoor displays for the store.

A little known fact is that spring is actually Sock Monkey season. They love to come out and play and watch the humans bustle around. We have our own little watcher keeping his eye on us as we run around getting ready for spring...

Of course we have planters. We have iron planters and clay planters and wicker planters and old containers now turned planter. Remember anything that holds water and or dirt could easily be turned into a planter and add an interesting look to any garden.
