Finally Summer?

Yup, had to put a question mark at the end of that title. So much rain, and more to come. Inside the Old House though we are ready for summer. We've got our summer items out and some nice displays up. Check out the pics below if you need some planting ideas or a new way to organize your garden tools or maybe some new dishes for a summer picnic.

This is our garden setup with an amazing vintage patio table and chairs in excellent condition. It's got a nice glass top and the cushions on the chairs are still wonderfully plush.

We also have these two great white metal lawn chairs. Missing a paint chip here and there they are a great way to rusticate your yard. Also we have a few fireplace inserts which are great for making into planters. So are old watering cans, butter churns and crocks. We have all these items and more ready and waiting for you to pot.

Time for a summer tea party! We have these pastel pretty coloured dishes that would be great for a picnic or summer tea in the backyard.

Summer tea parties not your thing. Perhaps you like to kick it a little less posh and a little more funky. We have a great vendor upstairs who has an awesome collection of '50's and 60's furniture, dishes and other amazing things. Come down and check out his collection if that's your bag man. Check the pic below for a nice kitchen table that would be great for some summer malt sippin' with your friends.

How about the kitchen at the cottage need a new cabinet or some supplies? We have some stunning antique kitchen cabinets. These really are some great pieces though!

First up some kitchen supplies. Great old tins in there or a lemonade pitcher with matching glasses and serving tray. There's a juicer some great pyrex bowls and many other items.

Next up the kitchen cabinets the first one is an amazingly rustic piece with a lovely finish. It's got lots of cupboard space and would be just the perfect addition to an old style kitchen at the lake.

Next up is this beauty another great antique cupboard with flour dispensing bin. Another piece that would look great in the kitchen at the lake or in any country style kitchen.

Last but not least is this guy, he has a nice green coat on him that brightens the room. With glass doors and lots of room in the shelves and cupboards. Also in this picture you can see a rare and amazing 40 plus piece set of pyrex dishes.

I threw in this little wicker chair because it just has a great style and colour to it. Great for the garden or the porch it's in amazing condition and just is beautifully ornate in it's design.

Last up because we loving lighting so much is this Mission style four arm fixture. It's solid brass with a beautiful petina that could not be replicated.
